I decorated for Christmas about a month ago. I know, I know! But I'm still feeling a bit out of it. Christmas is only, what two weeks away!? I don't have a Christmas tree nor do I have room for one in my current little dwelling, but I put up some garland, swag, and lights. Here are a few more things to decorate with on the cheap, but pretty chic. ;)
Notes:
- Winterizing will warm you up
- Bring the outdoors in
- Color coordinate and don't go carnival! Please!
- Stay simple
- Make a few things, buy a few things, save a few pesos
- Little vintage touches (see vintage holiday greeting cards) brings things down to earth
- It's ok to use food and plants in decorating. I dried sliced fruit and decorated my tree with oranges and apples one season! It was so pretty and fun!
Go your own way and don't buy someone else's.
